
Stephen is a board-certified physician with over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical and dietary supplement safety. Originally trained in family medicine, preventive medicine, occupational medicine, he transitioned into drug safety and later into supplement safety. He co-founded with Dr. Hector Lopez Supplement Safety Solutions, which provides adverse event monitoring, reporting and consultative services for a number of dietary supplement companies. He did his undergraduate degree at Fairfield University and attended Rutgers Medical School. He completed a Family Medicine Residency in Middletown, CT, and received his Master of Public Health from Boston University. Furthermore, he is the father of two boys, one an artist and the other an accountant transitioning to physical therapy, and he lives in Massachusetts with his wife and pug named Huck.
